Man Carries Loaded Assault Rifle To Obama Protest - Legally

The Story: A man toting an assault rifle was among a dozen protesters carrying weapons while demonstrating outside President Barack Obama’s speech to veterans on Monday, but no laws were broken. It was the second instance in recent days in which unconcealed weapons have appeared near presidential events.

This asks the question, “Just because you can, does it mean you should?” And I’ll tell you the answer right now: No.

This is the president. The first amendment gets violated when you’re talking about the president of the United States, why shouldn’t the second? If you say that you want to kill the president, you are going to prison quick. The FBI will get you, which is scary in itself; but at the same time, a very good thing. We can;t have people killing the president, that’s just wrong. So, if you bring a deadly weapon within, say, 500 feet of the president, this should be grounds for the FBI to arrest you on the spot.

All this health care hype is getting way out of hands. These people are bringing guns to these rallies supposedly to show support for the second amendment, but there real motive: terrorism. Obama is not going to, and has no power to, take away anyone’s guns or go against the second amendment. The sole reason these people bring these guns to these places is to scare people into thinking exactly how they think…just like Al-Qaeda.

About The Educated Hobo

All my life, everyone's told me that I'd never accomplish anything and that I'd end up living on the streets or in a van down by the river. Well, despite their criticism and Saturday Night Live references, I managed to end up doing exactly as they predicted.
