Scottish Leader Defends Lockerbie Bomber Release

LONDON – Scotland’s government defended itself Sunday against unrelenting criticism from the U.S. over the decision to free the Pan Am Flight 103 bomber on compassionate grounds.

Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, a Libyan convicted of killing 270 people in the 1988 airline bombing, was released Thursday because he is terminally ill with prostate cancer. He has returned to his native Libya to die.

Really? What has the “justice” system come to? This man deserves no mercy! He’s a terrorist that should rot in the prison hospital! Terrorism is a horrible, evil idea and every despicable low-life who practices suicide missions and terror threats in the name of anyone should live in prison for the rest of his or her life.

This is an outrage! How can anyone just let a terrorist roam free in Libya to plot another terrorist attack. The guy killed 270 people and stayed in jail for 21 years. Americans who commit manslaughter get harsher punishments than that.

This man’s prostate cancer is his personal Karma. I’m surprised he isn’t infested with sores and locusts for the horrific acts he has performed.

This guy is going to be welcomed back to Libya with flowers and medals of honour. He’ll go to lay down on his “death bed” and wait to die. Everyone will reward him for all the “wrongs” he’s “righted,” and he’ll be a Libyan hero.

This is an enormous win for the the terrorists and and an immense policy of appeasement conducted by the U.K. (I hope we get another Churchill in there before we have a whole new set of concentration camps).

All my life, everyone's told me that I'd never accomplish anything and that I'd end up living on the streets or in a van down by the river. Well, despite their criticism and Saturday Night Live references, I managed to end up doing exactly as they predicted.
