Father Wants Baby-Snatching Wolf-Dog Hybrid Back Home

The Story: Last month, the country was horrified when a three-day old baby in Kentucky was snatched from his crib by the family’s pet dog — a four year-old wolf-dog hybrid named Dakota. The canine was seen in the family’s backyard holding baby A.J. in her mouth “like a loaf of bread,” reported WLKY News.

Though he suffered a skull fracture, collapsed lungs, broken ribs, contusions and cuts, A.J. is recovering fully at his parents’ house. Shortly after the incident, the baby’s father, Michael Smith, told Good Morning America that while he harbored no ill feelings toward Dakota, who is staying at the Jessamine County SAVE Center, he said “there’s no way she can come back in the house.”

A skull fracture, collapsed lungs, broken ribs; and you’re letting this dog near you? First of all, I wouldn’t have a wolf as a pet in the first place. That is just plain stupidity, especially since there is a baby in the house.

They only left him alone for “two minutes.” They left this premature baby alone with a wolf for two minutes! ABC calls this a family tragedy, but I call it neglectful parents! There is something these people need to learn before they have a baby!

You can’t leave your children alone with dangerous things! One time a couple left their baby with me! Can you imagine leaving your baby with a hobo? I didn’t hurt it as bad as the wolf hurt this one (but the couple was lucky for it!).

How do you leave a baby alone with a wolf? That’s like leaving a crippled rabbit with a wolf! I’m surprised the dog wasn’t euthanized on the spot, and the baby wasn’t taken immediately out of the custody of these wolf-herders!

This baby and wolf should be taken out of these parents’ hands. The wolf should be put to sleep and the baby should be kept in custody of the state until the parents attend a mandatory parenting class and pass a few psychological tests.

About The Educated Hobo

All my life, everyone's told me that I'd never accomplish anything and that I'd end up living on the streets or in a van down by the river. Well, despite their criticism and Saturday Night Live references, I managed to end up doing exactly as they predicted.
