Students Suspended From School For Improper Dress

Another 14 students were suspended Thursday from Northwest High School in an ongoing rift between students and administrators over the school’s dress code.

This is not about respect, this is about control. The leaders of schools all have the same idea in mind. They just want to control. They want to be in control. I don’t know what it is about school officials, but they all have a lust for authority. It’s been that way ever since I was in school and it’s that way now.

There is no disruption of education by children sagging their pants. It might look tacky, but that’s not a reason at all to take children away from their education. It is unfair, and the principal of this school needs to come up with a better solution than just sending children home.

Like I’ve said before, the education system needs great reform. If it was perfect, every child would be in his or her own cubicle taught by an interactive video and a supervising teacher. Then, there would be no problems with behaviour or dress code.

Public school dress codes or uniforms are, in my opinion, preposterous. If I went to a school, I probably wouldn’t even be able to afford it (Especially if the dress code calls for actual clothes).

About The Educated Hobo

All my life, everyone's told me that I'd never accomplish anything and that I'd end up living on the streets or in a van down by the river. Well, despite their criticism and Saturday Night Live references, I managed to end up doing exactly as they predicted.
