Oil Leak (Late)

I know that I’m pretty late with my opinion on the issue of the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico, but I’m still going to spread it.

Why is this happening? Why has this not been stopped yet? Why does every plan that the government or BP come up with have an insanely stupid name? Top Hat? Hot Tap? Top Kill?

I may just be uninformed, but why can’t someone just stop this? Why is it so hard to cover up a leaky pipe? I don’t get it, but then again, I’m homeless.

I don’t mean to be cynical, but this spill is hurting a lot of people, and I’m sorry for complaining and not helping the solution or even giving any suggestions, but I thought the way to fix an open pipe was a little obvious: put a cap on it.
